HEAT ADVISORY
We would like to remind everyone that during times of extreme heat, the Manassas Park Community Center (99 Adams St. Manassas Park, VA 20111) is a designated cooling center during normal operating hours. You do not have to be a member to come in out of the heat. Hours of operation are:
8am-9pm Monday-Friday 7am-7pm Saturday 10am-6pm Sunday
If you do not have air conditioning, going to the library and or the mall can help you stay cool.
REMEMBER:
- Drink more fluids, but avoid alcohol and high sugar drinks.
- Wear light clothing
- Never leave infants, young children, or animals in a vehicle.
