In our continued effort to enhance public safety and support effective policing, the Manassas Park Police Department has implemented the use of Flock Safety cameras throughout key areas of our community.

These automated license plate recognition (ALPR) cameras are designed to help law enforcement identify stolen vehicles, recover missing persons, and investigate serious crimes. The cameras do not record speed, issue citations,

or track individuals — they focus solely on vehicles and license plates that are flagged in national and state crime databases.

We are committed to using this technology responsibly, with strict policies in place to protect privacy and ensure data security. All data is automatically deleted after 21 days unless it is part of an active investigation.

We believe this tool will serve as a force multiplier for our officers and provide another layer of safety for our residents and businesses. We appreciate the support of our community as we leverage new technology to protect and serve with integrity.
