On April 10, 2019, at 1100hrs, Manassas Park Police responded to the 8200 block of White Pine Drive Manassas Park, Virginia 20111 for a reported animal attack. Officers arrived on the scene, met with the victim who advised he heard dogs barking from behind his home. The homeowner opened his door to discover two (2) Pit Bulls, attacking his Chihuahua. The victim’s dog succumbed to the injuries sustained in the attack.
The victim advised there was a Hispanic male with the pit bulls who corralled the dogs and left the scene prior to police arrival. The Hispanic male was wearing a white sleeveless shirt and black shorts and was last seen walking towards Blooms Quarry Road, away from the victim’s residence. The pit bulls are described as larger than average; one is black in color and the other is beige in color. These dogs are believed to be local to the area as they have been seen running loose before.
