💙 Retirements 💙
The City of Manassas Park Police Department would like to congratulate Captain Kevin Hampton and Senior Patrol Officer Vincent “James” Brann on their retirement today from law enforcement.
Captain Hampton started his public safety career in 1985 as a volunteer firefighter here in Manassas Park. In July of 1995, he was hired on by the police department as a dispatcher where he excelled in that position and would continue to provide coverage for leave, up until his last months of work as a supervisor. In September of 1999, Captain Hampton attended the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy and became a police officer with this agency and rose through the ranks to Captain.
Senior Patrol Officer Brann began his public safety career in December of 1995 at the Coffeewood Correctional Facility in Mitchells, Virginia. SPO Brann later accepted positions at the Stafford Sheriff’s office and Prince William County Sheriff’s office. In September of 2002, the City of Manassas Park hired SPO Brann where he would finish his career mentoring and assisting our youth as the city’s school resource officer (SRO). Many students have kept in touch with SPO Brann through the years, which is an indication of how close his relationships were with the students.
Captain Hampton and SPO Brann, 💙THANK YOU 💙 for your combined 60 years of dedicated service to public safety and the citizens of Manassas Park.
